Butler County's location between the cities of Cincinnati and Dayton on Interstate 75, makes it a prime location in a market with a population of 2.8 million.

It is within a one-day drive to 20 major metro markets including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Detroit, Nashville, Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Toronto and Washington DC.

Butler County is within 600 miles of 64% of the nation's population and 53% of the country's manufacturing plants.

Butler County, Ohio is the Hamilton - Middletown Primary Metropolitan Statistical Area (PMSA) as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau and is part of the larger Cincinnati-Middletown, OH-KY-IN (MSA).

Butler is one of 88 counties in Ohio and its 2002 population of 339,828 ranked 8th in the state.
 

Served by both rail lines and interstate highways, Butler County is considered the center of a "metroplex" that connects Dayton and Cincinnati, providing two nearby international airports and a population of more than 2.8 million within an hour's drive. 

Southwest Ohio is in a strategic national location.  According to the Greater Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, Cincinnati is "at the center of North America's largest market."  At the same time, Dayton is considered in the nation's top "90-minute" air markets, with access to 55 percent of the nation's population and 56 percent of the nation's income.

Dayton which includes five metropolitan statistical areas and more than 300 towns, villages and cities, is also the nation's tenth largest "90-minute" land market, with more than 5.6 million people living within a 90-minute drive.

Butler County had a low unemployment rate of 5.0 percent in 2007.  However, Butler County has an advantage over the other areas because of its central location, employers are able to draw from Butler County as well as the Cincinnati and Dayton metro areas.

Few locations offer better access than Butler County. With its network of interstate highways and major state routes, including I-70 and I-75, Southwest Ohio is ideal for transportation within the region and beyond. Available land and buildings are strategically positioned for efficient highway connections.

Butler's location creates a natural hub for all forms of transportation - air, road, rail and water.
