Butler County Department of Economic
Development serves as the direct liaison
for the County to the business
community. Our goal is to create
attractive opportunities for existing
Butler County companies to successfully
grow their businesses and to assist
companies and entrepreneurs looking to
start-up or relocate new business
operations in the County.
To meet this
goal, our staff philosophy is to think
outside the box and provide businesses
with creative economic development
opportunities, alternatives, solutions
and assistance to meet their specific
needs and goals.

- Attract new industry and
business to our area to maintain the "critical mass" of
commercial and industrial activity within the county.
- Enhance employment
opportunities for all residents.
- Retain existing business.
- Encourage and actively
support local economic development efforts.

sharing of economic development information.
- Prioritize and coordinate
regional economic development activities.
- Educate Butler Countys
existing businesses and the general public on economic
development.
- To act as a clearinghouse
of data for prospective companies.
